Design Thinking + Learning Spaces

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In the spirit of taking a creative approach to learning spaces, this session will outline the process of design thinking and how we can leverage the iPad and other mobile technologies to make this process collaborative. Design thinking is a human-centered approach to problem solving & design. Too often schools are looking at space and furniture, but how can we include student and teacher needs in the planning process.

We will have a boot-camp style run through of the entire process together. We'll reflect on how we can use this in our classrooms --- how can we engage in this process to design the best learning spaces for our students? Most of all-- how can we use this to approach to integrate technology meaningfully into our work? Apps we will discuss include: Roomly, Popplet and Kahoot.
