Are you looking for a way to step away from your textbook or paper handouts, or looking to move beyond making PowerPoint presentations? Maybe you're already pretty app-savvy but are tired of juggling five different apps during one class. No matter where you are starting from, Nearpod can take you to the next level. It is an easy, interactive and versatile app that will increase peer-to-peer interaction, allow teachers to see who is on task, let you imbed assessments, and give students easy access to text, pictures and video -- all at a pace that works for each student. It can even transport students beyond the classroom! In this hands-on workshop, you'll get the opportunity to develop an innovative and inspiring lesson using this free app. Participants should download Nearpod before attending the workshop.
