Engage Your Students With iPads in the Humanities/History Classroom!

This will be a discussion/info sharing session centered on creative iPad use in our humanities classes. Doing something engaging and exciting in your class? Bring it in to share! You will also recieve a handout full of creative project ideas and interesting apps, including ways to create timelines, maps, iBooks, and other humanities-focused skills and projects. Let's teach each other, and make history the most engaging class your students ever have! For middle and high school level, beginner to advanced levels.

Wynn Richards

US Teacher, San Domenico School
Wynn teaches Global Studies and US History in San Domenico's high school and has also taught 6th and 8th grade in the middle school. She was instrumental in rolling out the one-to-one iPad program at San Domenico five years ago. Wynn has presented iPad sessions at numerous conferences, including CAIS and iTeach, and enjoys helping educators feel comfortable and excited about new technology possibilities.
