Design Thinking and Making in the Classroom (PART 2 OF 2)

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, we will continue to discuss Design Thinking as a way to remake curriculum, either in part or in whole, and incorporate the Maker/Making ethos within this framework. We will begin by discussing the Design Thinking framework and laying out the argument for why we need to teach "making" in the classroom. How can we use these frameworks to enrich student learning in and out of the classroom. The two hour session will include discussion, demo, hands-on work, and reflection time. Audience: all skill levels and all school levels.
